History
After six years with New England Life in Boston as an insurance agent followed by six years at The Kraematon Group in Wellesley as a retirement plan marketing consultant, Fred Hannon branched out on his own with a mission to give clients the increased personal attention their important insurance matters should receive. Benefit Planners Group opened its doors from a home office in Westwood, Massachusetts in 1993 — just as Fred's son was graduating from high school. Since then, the company has worked hand-in-hand with clients all throughout New England and beyond, and developed trusted relationships with wealth management firms to compliment their own clients' needs. Today, Fred continues to service his original clientele and looks forward to working closely with you and your family soon too.

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Fred Hannon
Fred is a seasoned financial planner who has been helping families since 1993 in the areas of estate planning, investment services and long-term care products. He began his career with New England Life in Boston, earning many of the professional designations associated with the insurance and investment industry. Several years later, he became a marketing associate with the Kraematon Group, where he successfully implemented a marketing plan for 401K retirement plans. Prior to joining New England Life, he was a regional sales director with Economics Laboratory, a national firm servicing the restaurant and hospitality industries that is best known today as ECOLAB and traded publicly on the New York Stock Exchange. Fred is a graduate of the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire, and the Executive Management Program at Babson College. He enjoys spending time with his wife, his son and his family, his grandson and his energetic Labrador Retriever.
